Indra was angered because the villagers had stopped worshiping him and instead revered the hill. Krishna's act symbolized the importance of devotion to nature and the protection of devotees.

Sankarshan Kund;

Taking a holy dip in Sankarshan Kund is believed to absolve one of past sins. Interestingly, the kund is associated with both Lord Krishna and Hanuman, as Lota Baba (an incarnation of Hanuman) is also worshipped here.

Poonchhri ka Lautha holds the story of Lota Baba, a devoted friend of Krishna. Despite Krishna's playful distractions, Lota Baba patiently waited for him.
